Gerald has 40+ years hands-on experience and knowledge producing well-trained, solid horses for use on the ranch or in the roping pen. He was raised on a working ranch in New Mexico, and learned from the ground up just what it takes to make a horse that will carry you the distance and get the job done. He has trained, ridden and successfully competed on horses at ropings across the United States. Heading, heeling, steer roping, calf roping, etc..... if it involved a horse, a rope and something to rope - he's been there and done it!
Gerald lives and trains just off I-40 a few miles out of Clarksville where he oversees a small cow/calf operation on approx. 200 acres of mixed terrain. A perfect set-up to produce a true 'using' horse.
